关于调整赴华签证申请有关事宜的通知

　　根据当前疫情形势及我有关防疫要求，为有序恢复中外人员往来，现对在南人员申请赴华签证作如下调整：

　　一、来华从事经贸、教育、科技等长期工作和短期访问人员（申请M字、F字、Z字签证人员），可按疫情前常规材料申请相应种类的签证（详见中国驻约翰内斯堡签证申请服务中心网站），无须提交签证邀请函（PU或TE）。

　　有关人员的外籍家庭成员（包括配偶、父母、未满18岁的子女、配偶的父母以及确需赴华的成年子女及其配偶），可凭亲属关系证明申请来华随居或探亲签证，无须提交签证邀请函（PU或TE）。

　　二、中国公民或具有中国内地永久居留资格的外国人的外籍家庭成员（包括配偶、父母、配偶的父母、子女、子女的配偶、兄弟姐妹、祖父母、外祖父母、孙子女、外孙子女），可凭亲属关系证明等材料申请赴华团聚或探亲相应种类的签证。

　　三、注意事项

　　（一）上述各类签证申请人均需通过中国驻约翰内斯堡签证申请服务中心网站提前在线填表、预约后按约定时间到中心递交申请材料，未通过在线填表、预约的申请不予受理。

　　（二）申请上述签证时应提交中国或世界卫生组织批准上市或紧急使用疫苗的全流程接种证明。

　　（三）外交、公务类签证请向中国驻南非使领馆咨询递交。其他种类签证申请及持有效居留许可人员入境问题请向中国驻约翰内斯堡签证申请服务中心咨询。

　　（四）有关人员赴华前须按照驻南使领馆要求申请健康状况声明书（详见中国驻南使领馆网站）。

Updated Notice on Chinese Visa Application Requirements

In order to resume international travels between China and South Africa, and also in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chinese Embassy in South Africa has updated its visa application requirements as follows:

I. Those who intend to either work in China or go to China for commercial and technological activities，can apply for the Z-Visa, M-Visa, F-Visa with routine documents as before but without Invitation Letters (PU or TE). Please refer to the Official website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center.

Family members (including spouses, parents, children under the age of 18, parents of spouses as well as adult children and their spouses who are indeed in need of going to China) of those foreign nationals resuming operation and production in China, can apply for visas with relevant proof of relationship but without Invitation Letters (PU or TE).

II. Foreign family members of Chinese citizens, or foreign family members(including spouses, parents, children under the age of 18, parents of spouses, adult children and their spouses) of foreigners with permanent residence in China, can apply for the family reunion Visa with regular documents.

Ⅲ. Important Reminders

(i) Applicants are required to fill out the online visa application form and make an appointment through the official website of The Chinese Visa Application Service Center before submitting application documents onsite. Applications without the online visa application form and appointment will not be accepted.

(ii) Applicants of the above-mentioned categories of visas are supposed to have been fully vaccinated, with the vaccines that were licensed or approved for emergency use by China or the World Health Organization. Certificates of vaccination are required.

(iii) Holders of diplomatic or service (official) passports, or applicants qualified for the Chinese diplomatic, courtesy, service visas, may still submit their applications directly to the Chinese Embassy and Consulates General in South Africa. For further inquiries, eg. information about the other categories of visas, applicants with valid Chinese Residence Permits and etc, please contact the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Johannesburg .

(iv) Travelers are required to apply for the Health Declaration Codes before departure for China. Please refer to the official website of the Chinese Embassy and Consulates General.
